Heiwa Tofu is a small food manufacturer in Rockport, ME producing high quality, organic tofu from Maine and New England grown soybeans. Our crew of 8-10 produces over 10,000 pounds of tofu every week and is central to the success of the business. We strive to maintain a friendly, supportive workplace environment.

Job responsibilities involve tofu production work, precision cutting and packing tofu, and daily sanitation/cleanup. The work is physically demanding and fast paced. You will be on your feet moving all day.

The shift is M-F and will start between 630 and 8am. This is a year-round position available immediately.

Employees need reliable transportation to the Rockport, ME facility. They should be able to regularly lift 25-30 lbs, stay on their feet for most of the workday, and be comfortable with basic math.

Pay starts at $18/hr with regular raises starting after the first three months. Benefits include a paid lunch break, 15 days of paid time off per year, health insurance, 401k match, quarterly bonus of about $1.25/hr, and some paid holidays.
